What is the Fortnite x Batman Comic Series?
The Fortnite x Batman collaboration was first leaked before the start of Chapter 2 Season 6. Epic Games subsequently confirmed the news and gave fans a couple of key details regarding the said collaboration. For those that missed the initial announcement, the Fortnite x Batman comic series, Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point, will see Gotham’s esteemed Batman go on an inter-dimensional adventure. The six-part story will see him trying to make sense of the Apollo Island, the code-name for Fortnite’s map in Season 2. The official description details the plot revolving around the Dark Knight working to uncover secrets about Fortnite’s world across six issues. As we’ve already mentioned, the first issue of Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point will be available on April 20. After this, two new installments will arrive each month in May and June. The series will see its conclusion with the sixth and final issue on July 6.
How to Get the Exclusive Fortnite x Batman Skins
Because this is a tie-in product, Epic Games used its latest team-up with DC to add even more cosmetics into their battle royal title. However, the new cosmetics won’t just be available directly from the Fortnite Item Shop. Instead, readers will get a code for in-game cosmetic items from each issue of Zero Point. At the moment, Epic Games has yet to detail all the Batman-related cosmetic items that will come to Fortnite as part of the Zero Point comic series. The only one that the game’s developers have confirmed is the new Rebirth Harley Quinn Outfit that will come with the debut release. Epic Games also added that players who collect all six new cosmetic items in Fortnite will receive the Armored Batman Zero skin as well. While all digital copies of the Zero Point comic series will come with codes, this does not apply to physical copies. Only those purchased via the US-exclusive DC Universe Infinite subscription will come with the cosmetic codes. However, it’s not all bad news. Epic did clarify that it will eventually put the limited-edition in-game Fortnite cosmetics on sale for V-Bucks later on. Harley Quinn, Batman, and other Batman-related characters are just the latest in a long line of popular media characters available as cosmetic skins in Fortnite since Chapter 2 Season 6 dropped. The other most recent addition is Aloy from the Horizon games.
