Set thousands of years before the events of The Lord of the Rings, the upcoming fantasy epic is partly based on J.R.R. Tolkien’s Silmarillion. Based on the trailers, including the latest one, The Rings of Power is off to a good start. Specifically, it looks like The Rings of Power’s Middle-Earth will make House of the Dragon’s Westeros look minuscule. But, of course, size isn’t everything. Not to mention, we still haven’t had a chance to watch The Rings of Power yet. For all we know, the Middle-Earth show could be all pizzazz with no substance. Moving on, The Rings of Power will tell the tale of how Sauron became so powerful and the forging of the titular rings. Check out the trailer below for a better look at The Rings of Power: The latest footage of The Rings of Power shows us plenty of intriguing pieces like Morfydd Clark’s stand-out performance as Galadriel. The Lady of Light is one of the few who takes a stand against the evil that she insists still lurks in Middle-Earth. In addition to an armed Galadriel, we also got a brief look at Anson Boon’s character, who many believe is Sauron, as well as several other places like the Southlands, Khazad-dûm, and Númenor. The trailer also shows us the lynchpin of Sauron’s influence, the once-scattered orcs who are starting to congregate in one location. Ultimately, there’s a lot to take in from the final trailer for The Rings of Power. It’s definitely gotten us more excited to watch the premiere of the show on September 2.
