However, after the bundle popped up on the Korean ratings board, Rockstar might have no choice but to confirm that it is in development.
GTA Remastered Trilogy announcement appears to be imminent
Earlier this year, there were several reports that a GTA Remastered Trilogy was in the works. Since then, talks of the unannounced trilogy bundle have only gotten more intense. Although Rockstar has not officially confirmed the game in any capacity, many believe that an announcement is only a matter of time. Now, audiences have definitive proof that it’s real. The filing on the Korean ratings board doesn’t reveal much about the remastered trilogy. However, it does indicate that the game is “not for youths”, which is understandable. With that said, several since-announced games were first leaked on ratings boards. A more recent example is the Castlevania Advance Collection, which was first rated in Korea, Australia, and Taiwan before being officially announced at the September 2021 Nintendo Direct showcase. Because it took several months for Konami to confirm the aforementioned collection of Castlevania games, we wouldn’t be surprised if Rockstar waited for a while before dropping news on the GTA Remastered Trilogy. Of course, we’re hoping that this isn’t the case. Rockstar could use some positive PR right now and releasing the GTA Remastered Trilogy is one way of doing it. Until Rockstar confirms the GTA Remastered Trilogy though, it’s best not to expect anything.
