Because there isn’t a Robocop movie or TV show coming soon (or, at least, none that we know of), the pop culture icon that’s best known for starring in an action flick that served as an hour-long critique of greedy corporations is a weird addition to Fortnite. If anything, Fortnite stands for everything that Robocop was criticizing, down to its monetization of every pop culture phenomenon since its inception. Not to mention, Robocop isn’t exactly something that Fortnite’s audience would resonate with: the Robocop reboot came in 2014 and the original premiered in 1987. If nothing else, Robocop director, Paul Verhoeven, is probably out there laughing his arse off at how Fortnite is using Robocop in a way that’s against everything it stood for. If you’re interested, the Fortnite RoboCop skin is available for 1,500 V-Bucks at the Fortnite Item Shop while LEG-2019 and Lil’ ED-209 are all available for 500 V-Bucks each. You may also get the RoboCop Bundle, which contains all three items, at a much lower price of 1,800 V-Bucks. As is the case with these limited-edition cross-overs, the Fortnite Robocop skin won’t stay forever - best get your hands on it as soon as you can. Speaking of Fortnite, Microsoft and Epic Games have teamed up to make Fortnite playable on iOS devices again. Fortnite is the first game to hit Xbox Cloud Gaming for free. So, all you have to do is to register for a Microsoft account and that’s it. Unfortunately, the service isn’t available worldwide (it’s out in only 26 countries, last we heard), but it’s a good start. Also, if you’re looking forward to seeing Robocop hit gaming systems again, RoboCop: Rogue City is set to hit store shelves in 2023.
